Marketing

Marketing Programs are extremely accessible, and exist in almost any college.  That is perhaps one of the best benefits of the marketing field.  It is the simple fact that opportunities exist around every corner, and the earning potential is so incredibly high.  Of course, in addition to this, there are no shortage of accessible and usable scholarships that each student can take advantage of.  College scholarships in this field will have certain requirements, but in comparison to other majors, there are many opportunities to be awarded much needed tuition funding.

Marketing Advantages

In terms of what you can do with marketing, you can literally find yourself in any sector, in any part of the country, working for whatever business, corporation, non-profit organization, or government program that needs good press and excellent advertising: all of them.  That is probably the single reason as to why marketing seems to be in high demand at this point.  Of course, the key is to hop on this train while the price is still relatively low.

In this sense, the field of marketing is still relatively behind the curve.  You will not have to have a graduate degree (unless you really want it.) You will not have any trouble of finding a job.  And, you will most certainly not have any shortage of scholarships from which to choose.

Earnings Potential

If you hadn’t known this already, marketing stakes its claim as one of the highest earning careers since 2008.  In fact, it is just below those of the medical field.  The interesting part is that the medical industry may force you to take a decade in classes, when a BA in marketing will probably only take whopping four years.  With only four years, you will be able to reach earnings as high as $120,000 per year.

In addition to that, the marketing career will allow you the capacity to find plenty of funds that give scholarship funding.  As we’ve said before, most scholarships exist as a sponsorship from certain schools.  Now, marketing exists in almost every single university in the country, which means that there will be scholarships almost everywhere you go.  Of course, some schools are more fine tuned for their marketing departments, that does not mean that most colleges will give you a bad education.

As always, your best bet for finding the best scholarships is to go to the most well known college for your degree.  If you go to a school that is tailored for the specific purpose of running marketing programs, then you will put yourself in line for the most high paying and frequent scholarship opportunities.

The Opportunities

For instance, if you were to find yourself Western Michigan University, then you will be able to take advantage of no less than six different opportunities, and those don’t even count what you could be making from your other conventional, general purpose, and nationwide scholarships.
