Sales

There are few things more lucrative than being trained and educated in sales.  If you know how to sell ice to Eskimos, then you will probably never go hungry.  Also, there are a lot of businesses out there with a desire for people just like you.  The reason for that is because you will make them money and move their product out the doors.  Often, it is you who make that business what it is.  So, are there opportunities out there for sales majors?  Also, what kind of scholarship opportunities can you expect?

Private Only

If you are majoring in sales, then you might want to know that there are probably not a whole lot of organizations that will fund scholarships in this way.  Also, there are almost no government programs that have anything to do with sales.  So, where can you get your scholarships?  Your best bet will be private sector industry.  The reason for this is the fact that they will be able to claim the money they give you as a “charitable gift”, all the while, you will probably be working for them when you are graduated.  But how can you get your foot in this door?  You have to make a few friends.

In making friends, the key is timing.  The last thing you want to do is successfully hit off a relationship with a business right before you are about to graduate.  This will not be a good scenario, because you might have lost all of your scholarship power.  But, if you begin by the end of your freshman year, not only will you have an available internship to go to, but you may also be so valuable that they will pay for your education.  This will give you the unique ability to start off quickly.

Among some of the most common of all the debt payment programs are UPS, Sheetz, and Chic-fil-A.  These companies are known for their education programs, and are hoping that you will advance within their company when they pay your school tab.  This will be your deepest source of college funding, so you need to make sure that you are beginning as soon as possible.

This is not to say that there aren’t some organizations that will pay your tuition.  Among the first ones to find are below.  This will give you a good idea of what they will expect, and some will say how much you can earn.
