Contest Award: Minimum – $50, Average – $100, Maximum – $250
Application Deadline: 1-March
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must submit an essay of 750 to 1000 words. Essays are judged on accuracy, creativity, conciseness, logical development of the topic, and scope of research. Open to active 4-H club members. Previous national level winners are not eligible. Applicants should submit a report on the beekeeping activities in their community and/or state. Contact local 4-H office for essay topic.
